                                                   Dear AUS Primary Community,

This past academic year was truly an
achievement for each and every one of us!

We started the year with a combination of
F2F and DL learning whilst we
accommodated less students on site during
the month of September. This brought with
it many worries and logistical concerns.
Luckily, by the 3rd, October 2021 we were
able to open the school up to welcome all
students back F2F (for those who may have
                                                   forgotten, this is face-to-face).
Our hearts were warm once again - we were able to teach
young children the way we all know is best!

That does not mean our dilemmas were eradicated - we still had to
maintain social distancing and absolute hygiene at all times. We
experienced almost weekly visits from KHDA/DHA to check on our
standards ... time and again we were praised in our efforts to keep
             our students (YOUR children) safe.

Meanwhile we set about the task of reintroducing special
days, activities and events within the protocols still in place. We also
made great use of the new-found technology skills the pandemic
taught us all. Who knew what ZOOM was 3 years ago? We all do now!
As expats - this has been a fantastic way for families to connect
             with loved ones far away.

The pages which follow make me proud and hopefully make the whole
community happy as we reminisce the wonderful experiences the
children have had. Please enjoy what lies ahead and feel free to share
the link with your relatives to enjoy as well.

Finally, it would be wrong of me not to thank every student, parent
and staff member who has worked hard to make this past academic
             year a success.

                        Warm regards,
                         Miss Dani
