WORLD BOOK DAY
World Book Day was first celebrated in
1995 as a day dedicated to promoting
and reading books. The UAE
government has taken special
measures to foster a culture of reading
in the minds of students and citizens of
the UAE, and to develop an integrated
national framework with the aim
of preparing a generation of readers
who are knowledgeable about all the
cultures of the world.
